My last Valentine card!

Here's my last card for Valentine's Day this year. This was for my granddaughter.....we have called her a little monkey for many years. I'm sure she'll get a kick out of it. This is also for the DT Reveal over at the Just Imagine Crafts blog. The theme is all things love and red.

I used Kreaxions punch #917 to punch the hearts out along the side. I cut the tree with my Cricut and added leftover hearts, from the same punch used on another card, as leaves. I found the monkey stickers at Hobby Lobby.
Hope you can stop by the blog and see all the other DT's cards.

You & Me

I've got a challenge up at the Turtle Soup February Mini Crop today. I'm looking for layouts with photos of kids and layers of long strips of paper.

This layout is done with all scraps. Since most of my scrappy stuff is in storage I have been able to use up a lot of my scraps. I love it when that happens!
Please stop by and check out our mini crop. Lots of fun challenges going on and of course there is a random prize drawing. The crop runs from today through Sun, Feb. 28th. Hope to see you there!

Hippo Birdie!

Here's a birthday card I made for a couple of challenges. It fits a crash your stash challenge at Turtle Soup and an online crop challenge at Scrapbook Generation where you had use a funny sentiment.

I've had these stamps for quite a while and thought they would be perfect for the Scrapbook Generation challenge.

Say it with Flowers

Here's a birthday card I made for the Just Imagine Crafts blog. I'm slowly but surely learning how to use the Kreaxions punches for more intricate designs.

I started with some water color paper, added some gelatos and used water to blend them. I then used the Kreaxions circle cutter to cut my circle and used template B to mark my punching lines. I punched along the marked lines with Kreaxions punch #920 to make the doily. I adhered the doily to the water color paper and backed it with purple cardstock and added it to my card base. Added a few raised stickers, stamped and embossed the sentiment.

Love Card

Here's a card I made for a challenge at Turtle Soup and a challenge at an online crop with Scrapbook Generation last weekend. I used a sketch from Turtle Soup and the colors came from the online crop challenge.

Here's the sketch

Happy Scrapping!

Folding Screen Card

I've got a card up on the Just Imagine Crafts blog today. I've always wanted to make a folding screen card and thought the Kreaxions punches would be perfect for this type of card.

I started with a 5 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock and then scored it at 2 3/4", 5 1/2" and 8 1/4". Then I folded it in half at the center score line and in the opposite direction at each of the other scored lines. Opened it up and punched along the top with Kreaxions punch # 920 and then just added some printed papers, stamps and embellishments.

I love how this turned out!

First Day of Preschool

We've got a DT sketch reveal challenge up today at Turtle Soup. Here's my take on the sketch.

And here's the sketch

I love this sketch and couldn't wait to work on it. However, since most of my scrappy supplies are packed away in storage I had a bit of a hard time. Thank goodness for my Cricut! Between my Cricut and my stickers, I finally came up with a layout I liked.
